Kalari Adimurai is a revived and a mixed martial arts that integrates various forms of ancient Indian martial arts practiced since 600 BC era, including Varmam, Silambam, Siramam, Adimurai, Mallu, Kusti, Eithal, Erithal and Ayutha Perukkam. Countless literature of Tamil Sangam period elaborates how the Tamil Kings and Warriors have mastered these forms of martial arts and that helped them rule the entire hemisphere of South East Asian sub continents including the Himalayas.
